Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These terms govern the recruitment services provided by Glasi Ltd. They apply to both employer clients and to candidates. By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. A Cookie Policy is included at the end of this page.

1Who we are

2Company registration

Glasi Ltd is a private limited company registered in England & Wales under company number 17147716.

3Scope of our services

We provide recruitment and staffing services, including:

Not included: we are an introduction and staffing agency, not an employer of the candidates we place on a permanent basis. We do not provide legal, immigration or HR advice, and we do not guarantee the ongoing performance or conduct of any candidate once employed.

4Enquiries & how work is commissioned

You may enquire via our website form, by phone or by email. A booking becomes binding only once we have confirmed the assignment in writing and agreed the applicable fees. Placing a vacancy with us, or accepting the introduction of a candidate, constitutes acceptance of these terms.

5Pricing & quotes

Fees are set out in a written quote or assignment confirmation. The rates shown on our website (for example, permanent placement from 18% of first-year salary, temporary staffing from £15.50/hour) are indicative starting points; your actual fee depends on the role, sector and volume. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. All fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable.

6Payment terms

7Delivery of services

We will use reasonable care and skill to source suitable candidates within agreed timescales, but we do not guarantee that any specific vacancy will be filled or filled by a particular date. For temporary assignments, the client is responsible for day-to-day supervision, health and safety on site, and confirming hours worked via timesheets.

8Cancellation & cooling-off

Consumers & candidates. Where you are an individual contracting at a distance (not in the course of a business), you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel, unless you ask us to begin the service sooner and it is fully performed within that period.

Business clients. A vacancy may be cancelled at any time before a candidate starts, at no charge. Once a candidate has started, our fee is payable subject to the rebate terms below.

9Refunds & rebate (permanent placements)

If a permanently-placed candidate leaves or is dismissed for cause within the first 8 weeks, and our invoice has been paid in full and on time, we will provide a rebate on a sliding scale (a free replacement search where possible, or a pro-rata credit), provided the vacancy has not fundamentally changed. Consumers' statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected by this clause. To claim, contact us in writing within 7 days of the candidate leaving.

10Intellectual property & confidentiality

Candidate details, shortlists and any materials we provide remain our property (or the candidate's) until an introduction fee is paid in full, and must not be passed to third parties. Each party will keep the other's confidential information private and use it only for the purpose of the assignment.

11Limitation of liability

Our total liability arising out of any assignment is limited to the fees paid to us for that assignment. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts, omissions or performance of any candidate once engaged by the client. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it directly. If we cannot, the parties will attempt mediation in good faith before either party commences court proceedings.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. This version was last updated on 8 July 2026.
